A national park-themed attraction is on its way to Frontierland at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World.

Disney announced Tuesday that Piston Peak National Park will be the "largest expansion in the history of Magic Kingdom," continuing "the sweeping storytelling tradition that has crossed Liberty Square and Frontierland since opening day."

Disneyland will feature a new Piston Peak National Park theme at Frontierland, inspired by the Rocky Mountain area.

Piston Peak National Park draws on the history and themes of the American frontier and the Rocky Mountains, which stretch from northern British Columbia down to New Mexico, and will feature "an awe-inspiring wilderness filled with towering trees, snowcapped mountains, breathtaking waterfalls, roaring rivers and impressive geysers," according to Disney.
